About the Artist


Tom Deacon was born in Lincolnshire, England. He moved to Australia with his family when he was 2 years old and grew up in south-east Queensland. His artistic endeavours manifested themselves in early childhood through an avid interest in comics and a love for fantasy films like The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth and Legend.

After finishing high school, Tom attended the Queensland College of Art where he obtained a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Graphic Design. Since then he has established his own online store that sells t-shirts, greeting cards, prints and various other products that feature his work.

Tom's art has gradually evolved from intricate fantasy paintings and whimsical designs into an urban expressionist style that incorporates a combination of traditional methods and various digital techniques.		 Nightfairy
