Thomas Deacon was born on the
2nd July 1972 in Grimsby, England. He moved to Australia
with his family when he was 2 years old.
His artistic endeavours manifested themselves in early
childhood through an avid interest in comics and a love
for films like The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth
and Legend.
After finishing high school, Tom attended the Queensland
College of Art where he obtained a Bachelor of Visual
Arts in Graphic Design. Since then he has created
another website called Funky
Karma
where he continues to sell t-shirts, cards, prints and
various other items that feature his work.
In recent times, Tom has been developing story ideas
and visuals for a future graphic novel project. He is
also interested in applying his talents within the entertainment
industry as a conceptual artist for computer games and
movies.
Tom currently lives in Brisbane, Queensland.
